In Wyoming, transfer legislation threatens 42 river runs, 516 climbing areas, and over 500 miles of mountain biking trails. The map below shows some of the most important recreational resources that could be disposed of, transferred, or sold. 

Along with the introduction of land grab legislation, Wyoming legislators created a task force and study the idea, with additional study authorized, at a cost to taxpayers of $100,000.

On or before December 31, 2017, the United States shall:
(i) Extinguish title to all public lands; and
(ii) Transfer title to public lands to the state of Wyoming
